Bread Baking at
the Fair!

4-H'ers demonstrate bread baking at both the Appalachian and Tennessee Valley
Fairs. At the Appalachian Fair, Food City Gray provides the flour and the
Appalachian Fair provides monies for the other ingredients. For the Tennessee
Valley Fair, Food City Knoxville provides the flour, milk and shortening.
The Eastern Region 4-H'ers bake, bake and bake!
Fairgoers receive the bread of their labors! Stop by for a biscuit. You may even
be treated to a little jelly and jam!

The Appalachian Fair welcomes 4-H'ers to demonstrate their
biscuit baking skills during the week.
4-H'ers from Carter, Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi and Washington Counties baked and shared with fairgoers the
results of their labors. |

4-H'ers also demonstrated their
baking skills at the Tennessee Valley Fair. Anderson, Blount, Grainger, Greene, Hamblen, Hancock, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon,
Monroe, Roane, Scott, Sevier and Union
Counties all baked biscuits for the fairgoers. |
